Our Chemical Management Policy

Performing its activities in the textile sector, as a part of the management policy;

It undertakes to comply with all national and international laws and regulations regarding the purchase, transportation, storage, use and disposal of hazardous wastes that will occur after the use of chemicals to be used during their production, and to meet customer expectations in this respect.

Kilim Group Kartaltepe Textile Factory, regarding the exposure and dangers that may occur during these processes (during the purchase, use, transportation and storage of chemical substances), it has adopted to fully understand the risks related to Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety, to reduce these risks and to make efforts to prevent the occurrence of accidents, while also providing a healthy and safe working environment and protecting the environment.

     In order to achieve all these, our goals are as follows;

• To ensure the use of chemicals and dyes in accordance with Oeko-Tex 100, ZDHC and INDITEX standards during our production,
• To reduce the amount of environmentally harmful waste by reducing the amount of chemicals used in our products,
• To carry out improvement studies in order to ensure that chemical risks are continuously reduced by detecting all the hazards of chemical substances,
• To take all precautions to prevent chemical exposure of employees during chemical use,
• To give training to the employees on chemical use,
• To prepare policies and instructions to protect the environment and employees against emergencies and to inform employees about this issue,
• To inform all our stakeholders about chemical management system practices and conducting mutual studies on this issue.

Our Chemical Management policy is to establish, maintain and continuously improve a risk management system in order to work in line with our goals and objectives and to eliminate the uncertainties that arise in order to meet compliance obligations.
